Is a deep V roller right for your boat?

Match the roller to the shape of your bow. A deep V roller fits a fiberglass boat with a pointy, deep V bow. If your bow is aluminum with a wide ridge, use a slotted V roller. If it has a slight curve, use a semi V roller. If it is completely flat, use a flat roller.

Deep V roller sizes

The size is the inside width of the bracket the roller fits. The actual roller width is listed so you can check the fit.

How to measure

Measure the inside width of your bow roller bracket and order the deep V roller with that size. All Stoltz bow rollers use a 1/2″ bolt.

How to choose end caps

Deep V rollers are offered with flat, medium bell and large bell end caps. End caps mount on the outside of the bracket on the same 1/2″ bolt as the roller.

• Large bell end caps: for a sharp, deep V bow, the usual match for a deep V roller.
• Medium bell end caps: for a bow with a decent curve.
• Flat end caps: for a flatter bow.

Your boat should rest on the center roller. The end caps guide the bow, and the boat should never bend them.

Can I buy just the roller?

Yes. Each size is sold as a single roller or as a kit with end caps.
