Is a flat roller right for your boat?

Match the roller to the shape of your bow. A flat roller fits a bow that is completely flat. If your bow has a slight curve, use a semi V roller. If it is aluminum with a wide ridge, or fiberglass with a keel strip, use a slotted V roller. If it is fiberglass with a pointy, deep V bow, use a deep V roller.

How to measure

Measure the inside width of your bow roller bracket. The 1 1/2″ flat roller fits a 1 1/2″ bracket, and the 3″ flat roller fits a 3″ bracket. All Stoltz bow rollers use a 1/2″ bolt.

End caps for flat rollers

Flat rollers come with flat end caps only. End caps mount on the outside of the bracket on the same 1/2″ bolt as the roller.

What roller do I need for a flat bottom boat?

A flat bow roller. It fits a bow that is completely flat, which is common on flat bottom boats.

What sizes do Stoltz flat rollers come in?

1 1/2″ (RP-31), which fits a 1 1/2″ bracket and is a full 1 1/2″ wide, and 3″ (RP-333), which fits a 3″ bracket and is 2 7/8″ wide.

Do flat rollers come with bell end caps?

No. Flat rollers come with flat end caps only.

Can I buy just the roller?

Yes. Both sizes are sold as single rollers (RP-31 and RP-333). The 3″ is also sold as a kit with flat end caps (RP325-333).
